Alain Moulay is a Sydney-based Psychosexual Therapist and Sexuality Counsellor with a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Science and a Master of Science in Medicine, specialising in Sexual Health Counselling.

He also works as a Couples Counsellor, having trained in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) under Dr Stan Tatkin. Alain brings a grounded, relational approach to his work, helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of intimacy and connection.

In addition to his scientific training and evidence-based approach to sexology, Alain is also deeply interested in more traditional, mindful approaches to sexuality, including Tantra, Taoism, and alternative lifestyle practices. His therapeutic toolkit includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based methods, PACT, and psychoanalytic theory. He draws from a broad base of knowledge, with interests spanning science, philosophy, the arts, and literature.

Alain is welcoming of all identities, cultures, and relationship formations. He works with the full spectrum of sexual and relational issues, and has a particular interest in men’s health and sexuality — supporting men of all ages, whether single or in relationships. With few qualified male sex therapists in the field, he offers a valuable perspective grounded in clinical expertise and cultural awareness.

He is a member of the Society of Australian Sexologists and a Clinical Member of PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia).

Alain is available for sessions Tuesday to Friday, 10am–8pm, and Saturday, 9am–5pm, either in person or online. His fee is $250 for individual sessions and $450 for initial couples sessions (2 hours). Concessions and package options are available.

Alain is bilingual in French and English, and can offer sessions in either language.
